Stacy Frost

Stacy Frost has been a full-time glass artist since 2003. She has studied with such talented artists as Lucio Bubacco, Bandhu Scott Dunham, Robert Mickelson, Roger Parramore, Larry Scott, and Jim Smircich.

In 2007 Stacy taught classes in both Dubai and Italy. Her work was featured in a MacPherson Concept Home on Mercer Island, and she taught for the International Society of Glass Beadmakers at their annual “Gathering” in Minneapolis, MN.

In 2008 Stacy was commissioned by Poncho to make ornaments for their Annual Fundraising Gala. She taught for Bead and Button in Milwaukee, MN, and was awarded “Instructor of the Year” for the Flameworking Studio at the Pratt Fine Arts Center in Seattle, WA where she has been teaching since 2004.

Stacy continues to teach regularly at Pratt and spends Friday mornings acting as the Warm Shop Monitor where she shares her love and knowledge of lampworking with students of all levels. She continues to serve as the President of Fire and Rain, the Seattle chapter of the International Society of Glass Beadmakers.

Stacy’s work has been featured in several juried art shows and can be seen in galleries in Kirkland, Seattle, and Japan.
