Virginia Hungate-Hawk's Personal Page

Virginia Hungate-Hawk, a Seattle native, received her MFA in Printmaking from the University of Notre Dame and her BA in Studio Art and Geography from Macalester College. Her prints borrow forms from biology, cartography, and geography to reference the natural world. Virginia’s work has been exhibited both nationally and internationally. Virginia also teaches printmaking at Kirkland Art Center and Stadium High School in Tacoma, she has been a studio assistant at Penland School for Crafts, and in 2010 was awarded a grant to be a visiting artist at the Glasgow Print Studio.
