Sasha Tepper-Stewart's Personal Page
Sasha is a native of Western Massachusetts and is currently a glass artist living and working in Seattle, WA. She received her BFA and Art Education degree in 2007 from Alfred University in Alfred, NY, where she studied art education, glassblowing, casting, metalworking, ceramics, and printmaking. In 2008, she moved to Seattle, WA to pursue a career in glass. She has had the privilege to assist several professional glass artists in the Seattle area. She has worked as a summer staff member and teaching assistant at Pilchuck Glass School, a teaching artist at several youth outreach programs and has also been a full time visual art instructor at Sammamish High School in Bellevue, WA. She currently works as an artist assistant to Shelley Muzylowski Allen and Rik Allen, an instructor at Pratt Fine Arts Center and Hilltop Artists, the warm shop coordinator at Pratt Fine Arts Center, a production glassblower at Glassybaby, and has a studio in Seattle’s SoDo district.
