Rachel Kotkin
Non-traditional media, youth instructor
A Seattle native, Rachel moved across the country in 2013 to pursue a Masters of Arts in Teaching degree at the Maryland Institute College of Art. Prior to earning her MAT degree in 2015, Rachel spent several years teaching and tutoring in a variety of settings in both Seattle and Juneau, AK. This summer marked Rachel's return to Seattle after having taught Art for three years at a k-8 progressive public charter school in Baltimore City. She is excited to be back in the Pacific Northwest continuing her work young people. Rachel maintains an active studio practice alongside teaching, and most enjoys working with non-traditional media in both 2D and 3D capacities.
