Seeing “art” as an impractical career choice, Carol earned her undergraduate degree in Landscape Architecture at the University of Guelph, Ontario, Canada. Her senior thesis, “Landscape as Art/Art as Landscape,” drew her into the realm of sculpture and the dye was cast. She has been working as a sculptor ever since. Carol attended graduate school in sculpture at the University of Iowa, and learned all about glass from the “Susan Balshor school” at Pratt Fine Arts Center.
